| Background to the Awards Programme | |
![]() |
Recognition for a job well done is the underlying purpose of JCI's Awards Programme. Whether at the local, national or international level - outstanding achievement deserves public recognition. An Award is more than a 'thank you' - it serves as an inspiration to JCI members and outsiders alike, to other Local Organisations around the country and to the community at large. A well-administered Awards program increases the effectiveness of the members by bringing successful projects to the attention of all. |
|
Winning an Award brings prestige to your members, to your Local Organisation - and when you enter International Awards - to your Country. Taking part in the competition encourages good record keeping and good organisation. You gain valuable experience, not only by submitting an entry, but also by viewing other entries - perhaps as an Awards Judge. | |
