| Junior Chamber International (JCI) is one of the largest youth organisations in the world, for young people aged between 18-40 yrs. It offers young people the opportunity for individual development & leadership training, social activities networking and community involvement. |
Meetings
Junior Chamber Tullamore meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each Month. You are welcome to come along on the night, and learn more about Junior Chamber and it’s activities and meet other young people. |
Community
Junior Chamber has a long tradition and history in Tullamore! Established in 1970, Junior Chamber Tullamore has always maintained a high profile both locally and nationally, and has been involved in a number of projects to date including the publication of "Know Your Tullamore" Guide and the "Personality of the Year" Award, not to mention its various fundraising events for local charities and voluntary organisations.

Junior Chamber Tullamore has a fun side too! Social events are regularly organised for members, including Mystery Tours, Bowling Nights, Races, BBQ, Pub Quizzes, Drama Nights, Cinema Nights, Historical Tours, Social Nights out and Weekends Away. Why not come along & improve your social life!

Junior Chamber Tullamore also organises training for members. Training provided to date include:
Website Management, Media Management, Public Speaking Skills & Debating, Colour Me Beautiful, First Aid, Leadership Skills, Interview & CV Preparation, Management Skills, Time Management, Public Speaking & Debating, Environmental issues, First Aid training, Officership Training, Presentation Skills, Money Management... and much more! Something to suit everyone!
| Hosting Events
Recent events hosted by Junior Chamber Tullamore include:
- JCI Ireland National Training Event & BBQ in 2005.
- Organised Reception for JCI World President Kevin Cullinane, in conjunction with Tullamore Town Council in 2005.
- Welcomed JCI Ireland National President Suzanne Corcoran to Tullamore in 2006.
- Organise the annual Easter Egg Project, distributing Easter eggs, donated by local businesses, to local residential nursing homes, centres for people with disabilities & hospitals.
- Organised Junior Chamber Ireland National Convention in 2006 at the Tullamore Court Hotel. The first time ever to be hosted in Tullamore, this international 3 day event attracted members & visitors from around the world! Events included training, discussion forum, debating, Blacktie Gala Banquet & The Outstanding Young Persons Awards Ceremony. The weekend attracted business to the town of Tullamore, and visitors had the opportunity to avail of organised bus tours of town & environs.
